About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Team Leader to join our team at a specialist neurological centre in Ipswich. As a Clinical Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team in delivering high-quality care to adults with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's or MS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team in the quality of nursing care and provide support and guidance to colleagues and relatives
  • Carry out patient assessments and create, develop, and implement care plans
  • Produce and maintain accurate records in line with internal and external policies
  • Participate in audits and monitor the quality of care through clinical audit
  • Ensure all incidents and complaints are reported to the relevant bodies and recorded accordingly
  • Plan and manage rotas to ensure adequate staff cover
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS
  • Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Proven track record of leading a nursing team and delivering person-centred care, including care planning
  • Previous experience within a neurological setting
