Aspinal of London is seeking for an ECommerce Coordinator to join their growing team.  The Ecommerce Coordinator is essential in managing and optimising product data for our online platform. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely upload, maintenance, and display of product information. Working closely with teams in Merchandising, Production, and Marketing, the Coordinator ensures that product listings are optimised for a seamless customer experience and searchability, driving online sales growth. 

The role is a hybrid role between working at home and our London locations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Data Management 

  • Gather, input, and maintain accurate product information, including descriptions, specifications, prices, and images, across the e-commerce platform. 
  • Upload data efficiently in line with product launch schedules. 
  • Monitor and ensure data consistency. 

Product Launches 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless product launches. 
  • Support launch planning to ensure product pages go live accurately and on time. 

Inventory and Pricing Management 

  • Partner with the Merchandising team to keep stock levels, pricing, and promotions up-to-date on the site 
  • Manage product discontinuations and markdowns to ensure smooth transitions. 

Troubleshooting & Testing 

  • Identify and resolve issues like incorrect pricing, out-of-stock items, and data discrepancies. 
  • Support website functionality testing during updates and enhancements. 

Reporting and Analytics 

  • Track product performance using analytics tools, offering insights to inform decisions. 
  • Produce regular performance reports, covering metrics like conversion rates, bounce rates, and customer feedback. 

Key Requirements 

Experience 

  • 1-2 years of e-commerce experience, with a focus on product data management preferred. 
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify) and CMS. 

Technical Skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. 
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce best practices. 
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools is a plus. 

Attention to Detail 

  • High accuracy in handling large volumes of data. 

Time Management 

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure, especially during busy periods. 

Communication & Collaboration 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Collaborative team player capable of managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
