The International Brand Development Leader for Kleenex brand (Hands & Face & Household Care category) will be responsible for building strong brands across the International Family Care & Professional business, strengthening consumer & customer engagement against a clear, long-term brand purpose/promise. Developing & maintaining cohesive brand foundations and identity across all markets, the role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global brand management and experience in delivering design & creative excellence. You will be fluent in identifying & translating consumer insights into brand strategy and influencing/partnering with multi-functional teams to deliver the brand vision.

Key Responsibilities include:

Establish and maintain Global/International brand foundations: Brand promise, brand profile, segmentation, architecture, branding strategy. Commission research (with Market Intelligence) to inform.

Develop audience targeting strategy based on insight inc. approach for POBA/POME

Develop and implement Global Brand Guidelines encompassing visual identity, tone of voice and messaging – ensures consistency of delivery across International markets leading the deployment of training for internal and external partners. Adapt brand guidelines for local markets where needed, in line with Global strategy.

Lead branding strategy across markets inc. defining the approach for master brands across multiple markets/categories & seek opportunities to maximise global efficiencies

In line with brand profile and architecture, identify opportunities to build and support the brand through extensions to new categories or subcategories, and new omnichannel experiences.

In conjunction with Sustainability Leader and overall Sustainability Strategy, develop brand social impact & sustainability strategy and plans & lead implementation through International portfolio and ABU brand plans/integration to brand idea execution. Inc leading any Global programmes which span multiple markets

Work with the Creative, Design and Experience team to bring the brand promise to life for consumers & customers through engaging brand ideas & creative executions. Lead clear briefs reflecting consumer insight & business strategy/objectives & operating as a key stakeholder through the development & implementation process

Own brand performance metrics & ROI delivery (inc. brand equity), working with marketing intelligence to measure in key markets and develop plan to act on results.

Provide brand leadership and direction during the creation and implementation of visual assets (including guidelines) – logos, colour pallets, typography, packaging, working with Design leader and team.

Drive alignment to brand strategy & maximise consistency across all touchpoints & across all International projects & initiatives through collaboration with multi-functional stakeholders (Marketing managers, Innovation, Design, Creative and Experience team, ABUs)

You will also need the following qualifications:

Degree level qualification

Proven experience in branding or related field

Experience in the consumer goods industry.

Proven experience in global brand management with strong branding skills and ability to develop and execute brand architecture and ambassador strategies.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to win hearts and minds within the organisation.

Strong leader with ability to influence and collaborate with many cultures and functions.

Proven ability to process insights & cultural differences across multiple markets, create synergies & translate into brand strategy

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working with/leading global creative & design agencies to drive strong execution which builds brand equity & delivers results

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
