Job Title: Psychology Graduate
Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Salary: £95 - £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our client schools in Barnsley. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain experience in an educational setting and support the mental and emotional well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing intervention programmes.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress and well-being.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with children or young people is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
