Job responsibilities

The ideal candidate might be from a variety of backgrounds such asan advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacist, or paramedic and must hold a mastersdegree in a relevant area of advanced practice

Key Objectives

When running your own clinics:

oAssess and triage patients, including same daytriage, and as appropriate provide definitive treatment (including prescribingmedications following policy, patient group directives, NICE (national) andlocal clinical guidelines and local care pathways) or make necessary referralsto other members of the primary care team

oManage undifferentiated undiagnosed conditionand identify red flags and underlying serious pathology and take appropriateaction
