About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at DHU Healthcare's Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre (LUTC). As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

  • To practice autonomously without direct supervision, utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
  • To recognise the need for, initiate and where appropriate interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • To lead and participate in clinical audit cycles as required.

Requirements

  • To be a Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
  • A minimum of 2 modules at level 7, with one module including assessment of clinical examination skills.
