About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at LUTC. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously, and making decisions with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
  • Recognize the need for and initiate relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • Exhibit excellent nonverbal and verbal communication skills when dealing with patients and carers.
  • Work within guidelines and policies, supporting the implementation of policies in your work area and participating in working groups as required.
  • Lead and participate in clinical audit cycles as required.
Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
  • A minimum of 2 modules at level 7, with one module including assessment of clinical examination skills.
  • Substantial autonomous practice, working in a multi-professional team.
  • Can demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care in both adults and children.
  • Can show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice.
