Ourclient has gone through an acquisition and is looking for aAccounts Clerk on a permanent basis and one to cover maternityleave. You will be joining an established finance function inGloucester.

Thepurpose of your role is to assist with the financial and accountingfunctions for UK statutory and management reporting. Duties includepurchase ledger and general ledgeractivities.



RequirementsPrincipleduties &responsibilities

PurchaseLedger
Ensuring all invoices arelogged and approvedappropriately.
ProcessingPurchase invoices through SAP.
Check and update supplier statements monthly.
Reconciling purchase ledgercontrol accounts.
Preparingpayment runs ensuring correct authorisation of all invoices.
Managing the Approval forCommitment (AFC) process. Logging all AFCs and followingauthorisations through tocompletion.

GeneralLedger

Preparing accruals &prepayments.
Assisting with monthend reporting and close.
Preparing and posting authorised month end general ledgerjournals.
Monthly Inventory& consignment stock reconciliations agree tologistics
P&L varianceanalysis.
Nominal ledgerreconciliations .
Landed costsreconciliations.
Updating landedcost sheets for incoming stock and processing onSAP.

Cashbook
Posting of purchase ledgerpayments.
Bankreconciliations.

Otherduties
Prepare Intrastat& EU Sales for the Netherlands & CzechRepublic.
Job Share Payrollresponsibilities regards preparation andsubmission.
Ad hoc tasks asrequired.
Payroll
Creditcontrol
