Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

Are you a driven and dynamic finance professional looking to transition into a commercial finance position? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assistant Accountant to join our team at a successful FMCG group in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

Your New Role

As a Commercial Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing insightful analysis on business performance, assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly and year-to-date sales performance, and supporting the annual budgeting process. You will also be involved in reconciliations of data aligned to financial reports, liaising with other departments to correct any variances, and supporting effective decision-making.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need to have some core finance experience with an accounts department, ideally AAT or degree qualified studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong MS Excel skills, and key relationship building skills to partner at all levels internally and externally. You will be driven and willing to learn, a strong problem solver with an analytical approach, and keen to self-develop.

What You'll Get in Return

This permanent role offers a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, remote/office hybrid working, flexible working hours, study package for CIMA/ACCA/ACA, career development/progression, contributed pension scheme, product discounts, and further group benefits.
