Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

Your new company, Hays Accountancy & Finance, is partnering exclusively with a successful FMCG group to recruit a driven and dynamic Commercial Assistant Accountant for their Gloucester office. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to transition into a commercial finance position.

About the Role

As a Commercial Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing insightful analysis on business performance. You will assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly and year-to-date sales performance, underpinned by analysis of brand and customer performance to drive key insights. You will also support the annual budgeting process, support promotion evaluations to drive understanding of business performance, and support effective decision-making.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have some core finance experience with an accounts department, ideally AAT or degree qualified studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong MS Excel skills, and key relationship building skills to partner at all levels internally and externally. You will be driven and willing to learn, a strong problem solver with an analytical approach.

What We Offer

This permanent Commercial Assistant Accountant role offers a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, based in Gloucester. Remote/office hybrid working is offered, flexible working hours, study package for CIMA/ACCA/ACA, career development/progression, contributed pension scheme, product discounts, and further group benefits.
