Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.
Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres, 13 consulting rooms, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.

Duties and responsibilities:

Deputise in the absence of the Physiotherapy Manager Assist in the management of the day to day running of the Physiotherapy department to ensure effective staffing levels in order to provide high quality patient care whilst meeting the needs of the business Provide highly skilled and specialised assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the in-patient/out-patient service. Take a lead role in physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patient caseload.  Provide education and teaching Ensure the team delivers effective physiotherapy by providing appropriate clinical leadership and educational and development expertise Oversee departmental projects and other business requirements of the hospital from the physio team.

Who we’re looking for:

HCPC registration with no restriction on Practise You will hold a BSc in Physiotherapy Previously employed in a similar capacity or as a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS or private Sector  Experienced and qualified in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and have In-Patient and outpatient experience Experience of managing, motivating, supporting developing and leading a team or department Evidence of substantial CPD in management and other clinically related and relevant subjects
