About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our qualified physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximize their clinical skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, including managing appointment systems and patient records.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatments under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database and ensure accurate recording of data.
  • Contribute to maintaining CHG Physiotherapy audit compliance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to reassure patients and encourage them to undertake their exercise programs.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC and software systems.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
