The Role:

Deputy Service Manager 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday. £35,525 per annum The site: A campus-based university in Egham, set in 135 acres of parkland, named one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.  The team: you’ll be working with a team of approximately 50 cleaners, as well as supervisors, team leaders and janitors, and will work closely with your Service Manager. 

Join us as our Deputy Service Manager (Cleaning) at Royal Holloway University of London halls of residence, a friendly place with a strong sense of community. You will be looking after the cleaning services for the halls of residence; a blend of historic buildings and modernised accommodation. You will oversee a dedicated team of cleaners ensuring students have a clean, safe and hygienic home away from home.

You will be the first point of contact for your teams on a day to day basis, carrying out daily check ins and recruiting, onboarding, and training our cleaning colleagues as well as stock ordering, conducting regular audits, and handling customer complaints. During the summer, you will be responsible for managing the deep cleans as well as turnaround cleans. You will be working directly with the Service Manager for the site.
