Supervise VDOTs Statewide ITSupport Hub that consists ofa remote team of 6 Desktop Technicians (Tier One) and 4 BusinessAnalysis (Tier two) that provide technical support for equipmentand applications used by agency employees throughout thestate. Skill inproviding exemplary customer service. Knowledge of IT applicationdevelopment processes and how they operate in a desktopenvironment. Knowledge of IT concepts and trends as well as systemsdevelopment design and enhancements. Ability to communicateeffectively orally and in writing with internal and externalcustomers. Ability to analyze business needs gather and analyzedata and communicate solutions to customers. Knowledge in IT codingand testing. Skill in the use of troubleshooting tools and managingand administering desktop solutions. Skill in the use of computersand software applications including but not limited to MicrosoftOffice 365 MS Teams SharePoint Online and Ivanti TicketingSystem. Provideexpert level support services to employees for hardware andsoftware needs. Implement service improvements to support field.Complete incident resolution at the highest levels of customerservice. Standardize help request processes and approaches. Managebroadcasts and communications statewide regarding IT actions fromVDOT and VITA that effect employees. Monitor VDOTs Support HubQueues for completion and dispositioning to other program areas. Exploreopportunities for process improvement. Create and managerelationships with internal/external customers and vendors. Assistin developing goals and objectives then identify measure evaluateand report appropriate metrics for the team and individual teammembers. Skill Required / Desired Amount ofExperience Leadership skillsthat positively influence and motivate others. Required Strong ability to organizemotivate communicate and listen to a team Required Ability tomanage and mentor a tiered team of remote workers. Required Experience utilizing service requestsoftware. Required Experience in IT Desktop Supportand/or as an IT Business Analyst. Required Strongwritten and oral communication skills.
