JobRole
Moving household and office furniture andother items to new premises or via storage.
Working insmall through to large teams.


Thisis a Zero hours contracts role there is potential for permanentcontracts following: the completion of 3 months service gooddemonstration of ability/skills andreliability.

RoleandResponsibilities

Householdremovals orrelocations.

Officeremovals orrelocations.

Takinggoods into or out ofstorage.

Largespecialist projects such as moving hospital library or schoolequipment.

Movingspecialist fine art andfurniture.


DaytoDay

  • Safelypackaging items before removal orstorage
  • Wrap& protect furniture into special wrappings and packingcases for shippingoverseas.
  • Asa specialist packer you might go to a location before the move towrap and pack delicate items like china glass artwork andantiques.
  • Usingpackaging to protect fragile items such as computers orantiques.
  • Takingapart larger items of furniture for packing andremoval.
  • Takingdown curtains and lifting carpets ifneeded.
  • Removingdoors door frames or windows to get large pieces of furniture in orout of a building
  • Packingitems loading them into your vehicle and securing them safely
  • Checkingthat all goods are secure before drivingoff.
  • Drivingto the new location unloading the items reassembling large itemsand placing them where the customer wantsthem.
  • Unwrappingfurniture and unpackingcartons.


Requirements

WorkingHours;

Flexibleworking working as and when required.

Movesbetween longer distances could involve overnight stays in lodgingsor in avehicle.

DrivingLicence holders preferred but notessential

Experiencepreferred of removal or similar role.
