A full-time vacancy has arisen for a Transport Co-ordinator based at our Warehouse and Distribution facility in Winsford.

This is a permanent role, working:

8.30am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday

8:30am to 5:00pm Friday.

What the role looks like….

  • Coordinating a small fleet of trucks to ensure products are delivered to fulfil customer requirements at lowest cost.
  • Planning to include supplier collections and other site requirements, but ensuring driving hours are not compromised.
  • Liaison with other sites to maximise the efficient use of all vehicles within the group.
  • Utilise third party hauliers to meet demand and/or maximise efficiency of our own trucks.
  • Working with Customer Service & Logistics teams to produce manifests for Irish and International shipments.
  • Dealing with transport related requests in timely and professional manner (booking deliveries, POD’s, pricing specials etc).
  • Providing clear instructions for warehouse team (loading/unloading) and offer hands-on support as required.
  • General administration within an office environment and assist other roles during holiday period.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager - GFUK, this role is part of our hands-on Warehouse Team, working closely with other functions across the business.

  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 tools, specifically excel

There is a need to work flexibly and have a customer service oriented “can do” approach. 

Attention to detail is important and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
