Due to a period of growth and Prthopedics being out biggest speciality with at least 2-3 lifts Monday to Saturday we are seeking an Orthopaedic Team Leader to join our theatre department on a full time basis. As an Orthopaedic Team Leader you will be overseeing a dedicated team and will be supported by a Theatre Manager as well as another Ortho team leader. Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures

Main duties of the job

Support the Theatre Manager to lead, teach, counsel and appraise staff to ensure development needs are identified and met. Implement personal development plans to meet ongoing development needsSupervise and educate junior staff, RGN's, ODP's and carry out clinical supervisionContribute to the overall advancement of the Operating Department to promote excellence in clinical careAct as a role model, demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise, leading, managing and delivering excellence in clinical carePrepare the operating theatre room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimumAssess patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload

Orthopaedic Team Leader | Cambridge | Permanent | Up to £48,000 Depending on Experience | Day Shifts | Excellent Benefits | Due to a period of growth and Prthopedics being out biggest speciality with at least 2-3 lifts Monday to Saturday we are seeking an Orthopaedic Team Leader to join our theatre department on a full time basis. As an Orthopaedic Team Leader you will be overseeing a dedicated team and will be supported by a Theatre Manager as well as another Ortho team leader. Working as part of this friendly and supportive team you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures. You will be passionate about service improvement, and driven to succeed within your career by completing your SFA course, if you do not already hold this. We encourage and reinforce your interest in development and progression and offer fully funded courses whilst being fully supported by your Theatre Manager and Senior Management Team. - Support the Theatre Manager to lead, teach, counsel and appraise staff to ensure development needs are identified and met.
