Your Role

Tasked with being in charge of the onsite residence staff; you will grow your leadership skills by assisting your residence leaders in guiding their groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable. You will be creating truly amazing memories for your students and managing a team of international staff. You will expand your organisational skills to ensure the room allocations are maximised and the paperwork is in control.


Working with staff from around the world, your communication skills will be maximised to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Responsibilities

Working with the senior management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. A live-in position that sees you having the overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there Support a team of international leaders to ensure our students have a home away from home experience You will take care of room allocation, supervise a team of leaders and ensure the residence staff work in harmony with your team You will liaise with residence owners and staff on anything from cleaning to theme events and safety You will share the emergency phone duty of the site on a rota basis

Requirements

A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential Experience of managing or leading a team desirable Highly motivated, energetic, positive Customer service orientated, friendly & approachable manner Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse potentially difficult situations Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients Attention to detail, organized & thorough All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS checkand two references Right to work in the UK Is a live-in position where accommodation and full board is provided at no extra cost, there are some residential requirements attached to this
