This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Quality Improvement team delivering innovation at scale in Primary Care through a Quality Improvement methodology.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Project Officer to join us, to support the development and delivery of workstreams. The EQUIP (Enabling Quality Improvement in Practice) programme supports practices to address the real challenges they face today, so that they are ready to thrive in the future. The programme aims are to increase both patient and staff joy through a focus on process management, perceived functionality, a direct experience of mastery and autonomy, and better resource deployment. We mostly rely on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI) QI methodology which uses the Model for Improvement as the framework to guide improvement work.

This role will be primarily responsible for leading on the planning, set up and execution of the Deployment of Edenbridge Apex (a visual data analytic and business intelligence platform for General practice) Project across North-East London. This will require a high level of initiative and resourcefulness to develop relationships and introduce the platform.

Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area

Experience in relevant disciplines project management, change management, finance, contracts, estates, communications Experience of delivering effective projects in complex environments

Desirable

Experience in a healthcare environment Capable of working on own initiative and managing own workload, working to tight and often changing timescales

Knowledge

Essential

Knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences
