Role Summary

Support Administrator/Secretary required within the Medicine Division to support the Medical Secretaries/Administrators and Lead Medical Secretary in Medicine. The role will involve working confidentially and at times on your own initiative in various secretarial offices covering a variety of specialities to support the smooth running of the department with administrative duties. The role will cover a variety of tasks from answering the phone and dealing with queries from patients, GP's and other colleagues.

The successful candidate will cover a variety of administrative tasks including answering the phone, taking accurate and precise messages, liaising with other members of the team and passing messages to them as appropriate. Checking and amending letters carefully prior to issuing them. Ensuring outcomes and orders have been made following clinic. Booking and changing appointments if required. Covering other administrative duties that may be required within specific specialities.

Working Pattern: hours per week. Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.
