We are seeking a Neighbourhoods Officer to join our Estate Improvement Team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept neighbourhoods for our tenants. You'll provide a customer-focused service, collaborating with various departments at Saxon Weald to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role will include conducting regular estate inspections across all our sites predominantly in Horsham and West Sussex, but also covering surrounding areas, East Sussex and Hampshire. You will ensure the timely removal of rubbish and abandoned items, address fire safety concerns, monitor contractor performance, and perform essential health and safety checks. This role offers a balance between independent work and working as part of a 2-person team.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Have experience and be comfortable with driving a van
  • Have experience carrying out minor repair works
  • Be competent in using a tablet/mobile device for work
  • Be able to carry and manoeuvre heavy items
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align with our values.
