There are two positions available, one position based at Unity House, Bradford, BD1 3DN and one position based at Pelican House, Bradford, BD1 5BA.
Working week: Monday-Friday 9:15am-5:15pm with one possible late night per week (either Tuesday 12pm-8pm or Thursday 1pm-9pm).
About the role
We are seeking two enthusiastic new Trainee Recovery Coordinators . We deliver the Pier Road Project in partnership with SLAM NHS Trust and this post will suit someone seeking to build their career in the Drug and Alcohol treatment and recovery field within a supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary team. We particularly welcome applicants with transferable skills or recent academic experience seeking to build on these in a practical setting.
The role of a Recovery Worker is to manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate. You will help set goals in recovery and help the service user achieve their goals in a safe and supportive way.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:
- 12 of months of working as a Peer Mentor, Peer Advisor, Volunteer within substance misuse services.
- Experience using Microsoft Office systems.
- A good understanding of the complex needs and problems that confront those with a history of problematic alcohol or drug misuse issues.
- Experience of managing a caseload is ideal but not essential.

The salary for a trainee role is £24, per year, which will then be reviewed after completion of the training programme.
