Job Title: Recovery Navigator

Humankind is seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Navigator to join our Calderdale Recovery Steps Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse to achieve their recovery goals.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery principles. You will work closely with service users, colleagues, and partners to provide intensive and co-created recovery solutions, enabling health and wellbeing improvements that are meaningful and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload by creating, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
  • Facilitate and promote the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment.
  • Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
  • Collaborate closely with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
  • Apply co-production principles to any stage of treatment and recovery.
  • Think creatively about treatment options, changes, and transitions in the context of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach.
