Job Title: Recovery Navigator

Humankind is seeking a skilled Recovery Navigator to join our Calderdale Recovery Steps Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to manage a caseload of clients, creating and implementing personalized recovery plans. Your expertise will be essential in facilitating the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment.

You will work closely with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for our clients. Your ability to think creatively and apply co-production principles will be invaluable in this role.

As a Recovery Navigator, you will provide substance misuse-specific knowledge and interventions, offering the right treatment to individuals at the right time. You will work to a Strength-Based Approach, focusing on individual and community assets, and will be supported by regular psychologist-led reflective practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, creating and implementing personalized recovery plans
  • Facilitate the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment
  • Work closely with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for clients
  • Provide substance misuse-specific knowledge and interventions
  • Apply co-production principles and think creatively to support clients
