Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Criminal Justice Recovery Specialist. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will play a critical part in supporting individuals with substance misuse issues to achieve positive community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-reach support to individuals in custody to facilitate a smooth transition back into the community.
  • Work collaboratively with Probation and Integrated Offender Managers to ensure continuity of care and support.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke interventions to support individuals in their recovery journey.
  • Manage a caseload and create, implement, and review ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
  • Facilitate and promote the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment.
  • Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
  • Collaborate closely with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
  • Apply co-production principles to any stage of treatment and recovery.
  • Think creatively about treatment options, changes, and transitions in the context of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key partners and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and recovery principles.
