Position Overview

As the Director of Learning and Development for EMEA, you will be a strategic leader in shaping and driving our regional learning agenda for EMEA. Reporting to the VP, Learning and Development, Global, and collaborating closely with the Regional People and Culture Partner, you will be responsible for designing and delivering transformative learning experiences that empower our EMEA employees to reach new heights. With a keen eye for talent development and a passion for cultivating a culture of continuous growth, you will lead a team of L&D specialists to bring our global initiatives to life, while also crafting localized programs that address the unique needs of the region. From immersive leadership programs to seamless onboarding experiences, innovative early careers initiatives, and in-role development frameworks your work will be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of our people and propelling our organization forward.

Essential Job Functions

Oversee the design, development, and delivery of learning and development programs for the EMEA region, in alignment with global strategies and regional priorities Partner with the global L&D leads and the Regional People and Culture Partner to identify critical learning needs, craft innovative solutions and bring globally consistent initiative to life within the region Manage a team of L&D specialists, providing mentorship, coaching, and direction to ensure the successful execution of all regional learning initiatives Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions to optimize the employee experience and maximize the impact of L&D efforts Serve as a strategic partner to regional business leaders, understanding their challenges and priorities, and aligning learning interventions to support their goals Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging a growth mindset and providing opportunities for employees to develop new skills and competencies

Duties

Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development agenda for the EMEA region, aligned with global objectives and local needs Oversee the design and delivery of leadership development programs across our leadership population levels Introduce and manage a comprehensive learning curriculum designed to ensure our people have the critical skills they require to perform and grow at Vantage Work with business SMEs to put in place technical training frameworks at a regional level to ensure our employees have the critical capabilities required to excel within a data center environment Partner with the Senior Manager for Onboarding Excellence to ensure the successful onboarding of new hires across EMEA, ensuring engaging and impactful experiences that set them up for long-term success Spearhead the development and execution of early careers, employability, and "grow our own" programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the region Collaborate with the global L&D team and other regional L&D partners to adapt and localize learning content and resources for the EMEA employee population Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, such as HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts, to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities Monitor and report on the impact and effectiveness of learning programs, using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement Manage the regional L&D budget and resources, ensuring efficient and strategic allocation of funds Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging learning technologies to continuously enhance the employee learning experience Coordinate with internal external facilitators, trainers, and vendors to ensure high quality programme delivery Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of learning and development professionals

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field Minimum 8-10 years of experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of leading successful regional or global learning initiatives Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, onboarding, and early careers initiatives Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into targeted learning solutions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders Experience managing and developing high-performing learning and development teams Proficient in using learning management systems, data analytics tools, and other relevant learning technologies Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Passion for driving a culture of continuous learning and development Data Center or high-tech experience is preferred, but not required  Driven, strong communicator, outstanding written & communication skills along with high attention-to-detail, required Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel Travel is expected to be less than 10%, but may increase over time as the business evolves
