CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. We are recruiting an EMEA IFM Lead based in London to oversee the delivery of all aspects of the facilities management scope of services.

About the Role

The IFM Lead for EMEA will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and high-level service delivery through developing excellent relationships with internal clients and external suppliers. They will ensure that all sites conform to our client's Critical Facilities and FM standards/guidelines in terms of design, operational performance, and overall resilience.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrating the overall service delivery model to provide a holistic and unified property services solution
  • Managing on-site facilities management operation teams and engineering teams in terms of staffing, training, development, and performance
  • Supporting account management teams to monitor and modify services deliverables in accordance with client business needs
  • Implementing standards for inspection and audit protocols for improvement and/or maintenance of operational delivery
  • Reviewing and establishing procedure playbooks to demonstrate performance delivery consistency
  • Ensuring planned preventative maintenance activities are delivered to plan on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with various client teams, central CBRE energy management team, and other CBRE management teams on the account
  • Managing effective implementation of Health, Safety, Security & Environmental policies and procedures to minimize risk exposure to the Client
  • Reviewing and managing contract documents to ensure consistency and adherence with client master contract and CBRE's corporate standards
  • Contributing to account commercial performance through identification of service efficiencies while protecting service levels and KPI performance
  • Developing and controlling annual facility budgets, including direct and indirect contract service expenses, preventative maintenance costs, and project/capital items
  • Ensuring superior delivery of all contract deliverables, including measurable value-add, innovation, continuous improvement, and 'dark green' customer satisfaction feedback
  • Demonstrating tangible leadership and relationship management skills across primary client stakeholders and CBRE Account team
  • Leading by example, owning creative problem-solving in a high-pressure environment
  • Responsible for all in-scope engineering service delivery in the EMEA region
  • Maintaining matrix partnerships with the Global Engineering Director and EMEA Alliance Director, providing tactical and operational delivery reports, as well as Supply Partner management and direction
  • Using data to drive monitoring, reporting, and driving performance of the engineering team across the region
  • Serving as a key player in implementing the CBRE Shield Critical Facility Risk Management (CFRM) program and owning CFRM performance for the region
  • Supporting Smart FM initiatives across EMEA
  • Providing leadership, support, and guidance to sub-region engineering leads to ensure effective, timely, and complete delivery of service provider's deliverables according to Service Level Agreement and Contract
  • Managing regional incident and escalation, leading engineering problem-solving, fault finding, and root cause analysis for the region
  • Conducting regular reviews of existing operations to ensure maintenance and operating standards and environments are adequate for each facility

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of ten years post-training experience, five years of which in maintaining critical engineering environments. A tertiary qualification in Engineering Studies is preferable, with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

CBRE Enterprise EMEA offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
