Job summary

Our Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol service are looking for two Family Workers to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you. Main duties of the job

As a Family Worker you will be providing support and advice to families in relation to substance misuse and its impact on the family. You will offer family focussed interventions which reduce the impact of substance misuse in families, particularly on children and young people, whilst working to raise awareness of and improve access to appropriate services. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with clients and their families, helping them get their lives back to where they want them to be, whilst managing an active caseload and ensuring continuity of care.
