About the Role

YPLP  settings across Lincolnshire have embraced the  Learner Conduct Policy; supported by When the adults change Everything Changes by Paul Dix  to support our variety of learners, to engage positively within the classroom setting.   

The framework allows the  Behaviour Coach  to pull on a multitude of techniques and interventions enabling the learner to re-enter the classroom setting and re-engage effectively.  You will nurture, guide and mentor learners rather than issuing sanctions. 

Examples of behaviour you will be supporting may include:

  • Verbal outbursts
  • Refusing to engage
  • Struggling with emotions

 

This role is a full time position based in Lincoln. You may also be required to travel to other sites when needed.

About You

You will need to be:

  • Resilient
  • Creative and reactive
  • Demonstrate a positive classroom presence
  • Dynamic and resourceful in your approach- able to think on your feet
  • Have strong communication skills

 

You will work closely with your team feeding back to tutors and pastoral care leads on the progress, successes and areas of development for learners, creating individual plans of action.  

In line with the policy when the adult changes, everything changes.  Could you be the change?
