Lincoln, United Kingdom Thrive Tribe Full time

**Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive**

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier We have an exciting opportunity for a **Stop Smoking Practitioner **to join our One You Lincolnshire service. One You Lincolnshire is an Integrated Healthy Lifestyle Service which has been supporting local residents, since July 2019, with Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, Alcohol Reduction, Physical Activity and Health Coaching. More recently the service has expanded to offer Child and Family Weight management, and Strength and Balance for adults aged 65+.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as a **Stop Smoking Practitioner** might include:

- Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers quit for good
- Running stop smoking clinics across community settings and via telephone by working with clients on both a one-to-one and group basis
- Working with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to help improve patient uptake and meet targets
- Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients, in alignment with our policies and procedures
- Engaging in training relevant to your role, such as NCSCT Stop Smoking training and Behaviour Change Level 1 and 2
- Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments - we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources
- Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
- Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values
