Haulfryn has a fantastic opportunity for a full time Marketing Manager to join our growing team at our friendly support office in Maidenhead

With the help of the internal team and external agencies, the Marketing Manager will implement marketing strategies and plans to acquire
and convert customers across the individual park sites and the brand as a
whole, whilst achieving optimum ROI

As a Marketing Manager you will:

  • Contribute
    to the shaping and development of effective marketing strategies and plans to acquire and convert target customers across both holiday and residential parks/divisions
    and drive brand awareness and consideration as appropriate. 
  • Ensure
    plans reflect the most effective channel and media mix to deliver objectives
    and an optimum ROI
  • Implement the marketing plan deliverables including (but not
    limited to) press, magazines, content partnerships, door drops, paid search,
    digital display and paid social, providing creative assets as required
  • Shape and execute the PR strategy maximising opportunities to
    support core business objectives and communicate the brand strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day management of owned digital channels (ie
    websites, social media platforms) ensuring that information is accurate and up
    to date, and content supports acquisition and conversion strategies, whilst communicating
    the brand objectives
  • Develop and deliver content to effectively communicate
    Haulfryn propositions and drive organic search performance. Ensure websites are
    effectively optimised for organic search
  • Review and evaluate marketing
    campaigns and activity to improve future performance, providing regular
    reporting of KPIs as required. Optimise digital activity in-flight to deliver
    optimal performance
  • Develop creative execution to
    communicate brand objectives clearly and consistently
  • Contribute to the setting and
    management of budgets, including the raising and receipting of purchase orders
    as required
  • Seek and implement
    opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing,
    processes and spend
  • Proactively lead and manage,
    internal direct reports, external agencies and suppliers, working
    collaboratively to achieve agreed goals and maximise effectiveness, across
    brand building, lead generation and SEO
  • Lead, coach and manage team to develop skills, capability,
    and experiences, whilst ensuring effective delivery of agreed objectives






What Will You Bring

Essential:

  • Experience in a similar multi-site B2C marketing roles
  • Track
    record of expertise in on and offline advertising channels (covering planning,
    execution and evaluation) and their roles in delivering an effective marketing
    mix
  • Lead
    Generation/Direct response advertising is a must
  • Budget
    planning and management experience
  • Strong
    communication, collaboration and relationship building skill set - this role
    requires daily contact with a number of different internal and external
    stakeholders
  • Briefing
    and ensuring the delivery of creative content or assets for both advertising
    and direct to customer campaigns/activity, via both internal design resource
    and external freelances/agencies
  • Experience
    of managing and working closely with external agencies
  • Understanding
    of modern SEO principles and techniques (on and off page)
  • Understanding
    of the role of content and its place in plays in delivering effective marketing
    and outstanding customer experiences
  • Understanding
    of the factors that influence the quality of website experiences
  • Appreciation
    of the role of social media channels to drive brand objectives
  • Creative
    eye: can quickly assess the quality of creative execution and provide
    constructive feedback to enable improvements
  • Track
    record of continuous improvement: both performance and process



Desirable:

  • Educated
    to degree level or equivalent. Marketing qualification (eg Degree, CIM) a plus
  • Experience
    in travel, leisure, or property sales industries (particularly holiday homes
    and residential parks), or others with high ticket value or deep consideration
    products
  • Consumer
    copywriting experience
  • Practical
    experience of managing marketing third parties including scoping, planning,
    execution and reviewing performance
  • Experience/knowledge
    in briefing, managing and approving multimedia production e.g. photography,
    videography, 3D virtual tours
  • Practical
    experience of managing SEO improvement programmes
  • Hands-on
    experience of managing website content: Wordpress CMS highly desirable
  • Hands-on
    experience of CRM (including setting up automated marketing campaigns)
