Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a genuine passion for maintaining administrative excellence? We're currently in search of a dynamic and dedicated Procurement Administrator to join our thriving team

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting all departments at Criterion Constructions by managing the procurement process for various items including stock, spare parts, and fixed assets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Cultivate and maintain relationships within our supply chain network.
  • Assist in negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable procurement terms.
  • Identify the need for new suppliers or the cessation of existing ones.
  • Keep department managers updated on supplier performance when necessary.
  • Generate purchase orders in line with agreed minimum and maximum stock levels, utilizing preferred suppliers and agreed pricing.
  • Ensure that any orders placed outside of agreements are authorized by management.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and follow up on any delays.
  • Promptly communicate any delays to the operations team.
  • Procure fixed assets using the relevant purchasing system and correct resource coding.
  • Obtain and validate delivery documentation for all received orders.
  • Challenge carriage charges and price increases initially and communicate these to department managers.
  • Assist with the process of returning goods to suppliers.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in procurement administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
