Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £85 - £100 Per day
Job Description:
- Provide support to pupils with challenging behaviour in an educational setting
- Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to support pupil progress
- Document and report incidents of challenging behaviour
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children with behavioural difficulties
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques such as Team Teach
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with children with challenging behaviour
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school/PRU setting
- Full-time hours, temporary position
- May involve dealing with challenging behaviour from pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
