Job DescriptionResponsible for creating and maintaining the EAT Training Program for the Production and Maintenance departments, working alongside the experts in each area of the business to ensure that the Training Program is meaningful, relevant, efficient and replicable across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Create the structure to follow Sealed Air’s EAT Training Program for the factory
- Review existing SOPs, Risk Assessments and OSWs, to ensure that these are relevant and up-to-date.
- Support the Site with the Training methodology for new and existing Trainers, to ensure that training is delivered in a standardised manner
- Develop a regular auditing process for the EAT Training Program
- Collect and implement relevant best practices from other Sites in regards to Training and upskilling of the workforce
- Ensure Training Records are up-to-date and comply with relevant Regulations
- Support the Site to deliver on the Performance Targets, such as ZERO Harm, Flawless Quality, Output, Yield and OTC
- Update and maintain the Site skills matrix, in order to identify gaps and focus areas
- Work alongside the site management team to identify gaps in skills and competencies, in order to provide focused training when and where required, improving overall site safety, quality and efficiency
Essential criteria
- Previous experience coordinating Training in a manufacturing environment
- Organised, methodical, focused and committed
- Creative, innovative, passionate about progressing self and others
- Action orientated individual, self-motivated and willing to learn and deliver results
- Able to delegate tasks and motivate others
- Able to work autonomously, with minimum supervision
- Natural Communicator with a bias for action
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Package (Excel / PPT / Word / SharePoint)
Desired criteria
- Working knowledge in the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies on a multi-disciplinary environment (5S, PDCA, DMAIC, VSM, etc)
- Yellow Belt / Green Belt / Lean Six Sigma Qualification
- Experience delivering Continuous Improvements Training
