Here is a great opportunity to join the Observatory MedicalPractice as we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic qualified Nursing Associate tohelp our wonderful Nursing team in a role covering most aspects of normaltreatment. We are a long established friendly 12,800 patient practice in abright new building in the heart of Jericho, a lovely part of Oxford withinwalking distance of the city centre and are regularly voted by patients as oneof the leading practices in Oxford. There is parking on site for clinical staffand we are within easy walking distance from the train station and main busroutes.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate would like to work between 15 and hoursper week over 2 to 5 days, but there is some flexibility around this (ofcourse). You will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care forpatients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and othermembers of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasksnormally undertaken by a nursing associate working in General Practice including doing phlebotomy, injections, vaccinations, wound care (surgical/ulcer wound care/compression), doppler, teamwork, health promotion, room checks (infection control duties), stock check & NHS Health Checks

Pay will be generous and dependent on experience. Note that you must have a UK Nursing Associate qualification.

You will be joining an experienced, well lead and helpful team with specialists knowledge in diabetes and respiratory as well as onsite phelbotomist, pharmacists, physio and pharmacy technician
