Vantage is seeking a meticulous, process-driven, and resourceful Mobilization Lead to join our Infrastructure Operations EMEA team. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and structured handover of data centers from development to operations teams. As the Mobilization Lead, you will focus on developing and managing processes, procedures, and documentation that support the mobilisation team, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
Process Development: Create and refine processes to support the seamless transition of data centers from development to operations.
Procedure Management: Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across mobilisation activities.
Documentation Oversight: Review, compile, and manage all technical documentation required for operational teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to facilitatestrong communication and collaboration during the mobilisation process.
Training and Support: Train and support the mobilisation team on established processes and procedures to ensure adherence and understanding.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within current processes and procedures, implementing changes as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Process and Procedure Development: Design and implement robust processes and procedures that align with Vantage's standards and customer requirements.
Documentation Management: Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant teams.
Transition Support: Oversee the onboarding of vendors, initiation of maintenance contracts, and procurement of critical spares to support seamless site handover.
Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with the mobilisation process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximised uptime.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on mobilisation progress and challenges.
Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the mobilisation team is well-versed in all processes, procedures, and documentation standards.
Job Requirements
Preferably 5+ years of experience in Process Development, Documentation Management, Complex Development, Construction, or Delivery Project Management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all processes and documentation.
Experience in data center operations, high-tech, or rapid growth industries is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms is an added benefit.
Travel required is expected to be between 10%-20% but may change over time as the business evolves.
