We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Data Analyst to join our established and growing team in Newbury. Working with stakeholders across the programme to understand the requirements and support the design and implementation of optimal solutions fostering data driven culture. To drive reporting efficiencies by categorising internal practices for streamlined reporting and define a vehicle for sharing with others.

You’ll be responsible for:

Designing, delivering, and maintaining self-serve analytics and reporting solutions within a project environment.

Reporting and query optimisation.

Delivering analytics training to non-technical audiences.

Identifying and providing logical explanations and reasons for changes in performance.

Performing root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions to streamline and reduce repetitive requests

Keeping up to date regarding information management technology, tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their performance based on the business's goals and operational requirements.

Carrying out data cleansing and data linking, with rigorous data validation and quality assurance across a variety of data types.

You’ll need to have:

You will have a degree in a data driven discipline - economics, statistical, finance or mathematics or equivalent. You will be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

You will have experience in the various tools like data visualisation tools (Power BI and Tableau), azure platform including data lakes and data warehouse, orchestration products such as azure data factory as well as azure data catalogue, master data services, and data quality services, SQL and DAX and business intelligence tools

You will also have experience working in a fast-moving project environment and ideally experience of nuclear, high security or highly regulated industry sectors.
