What will make you successful in the role?

The role is on-site at East Midlands Airport, and as such you will need to live within commuting distance. Ideally you will be an experienced electrical engineer or contract electrician who has served a recognised apprenticeship - for example NVQ3 Electrical Installation. You will have fault finding experience, and be 18th Edition (BS7671) qualified.

We look for a methodical approach to problem solving, critical thinking, and the ability to use your initiative. Excellent verbal skills are important - to allow you to communicate with contractors, Air Traffic Control, colleagues and senior leaders. Your experience does NOT need to have been gained in an Aerodrome or ATC environment, but it would of course be helpful.
