Job Overview:

The Vehicle/Plant Technician is a key member of the Jet2.com team, responsible for ensuring the effective servicing and repairs of all ground equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily checks, repairs, and servicing of ground equipment in line with Jet2.com and manufacturer requirements.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring accurate and timely completion of auditable paperwork.
  • Coordinate with main contractors to ensure compliance with local and industry regulatory requirements, including CAP642 and LOLER.
  • Ensure the consistent operational efficiency of ground equipment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in electromechanical repairs and servicing of GSE, light commercial vehicles, and plant equipment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety principles.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate information as required.

What We Offer:

  • A permanent contract.
  • A rolling 4 on, 4 off, 06.00-18.00 shift pattern, with some flexibility required to cover leave and business requirements.
  • A 4-week roster in advance.
