About the Role: MET Strip/Fitter Technician

As a  MET Strip/Fitter Technician  at our Edinburgh Bodyshop, you’ll play a vital role in our accident repair process. Your main duties will include:

Dismantling and reassembling vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and specifications. Conducting detailed inspections to assess vehicle damage and identify repair requirements. Using your expertise to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to ensure all repairs are completed on time and to a high standard. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

Previous experience as a  MET Strip/Fitter  or in a similar role within the Bodyshop and accident repair industry. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and Bodyshop equipment. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. A proactive problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure. Relevant qualifications (., SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are a plus.
