About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Edinburgh. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and performing inspections and diagnostic work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs to the highest standards.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop, ensuring all necessary work is completed efficiently.
  • Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues.
  • Order replacement parts and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced MET Technician who can work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. You must be able to plan your workload, work safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.

You will be responsible for ensuring all tasks follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean and tidy work areas.

Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a change to work in a body shop.
