The Role

This role is based at our London headquarters

Our Global Property team is part of News Corp Services (NCS). It is a high-performing team of senior professionals focusing on developing and executing services and strategies to maximize the value of News Corp global 11M sq ft office and industrial property portfolio. We operate as a global Center of Excellence for Property and Strategy, Programme Management, Financial Reporting, Client Relationship Management and Venture Integration support. Our scope of services is evolving according to the needs of our organization.

This role is suited for a candidate who likes data, process management, participating in the production of reports intended for the C-suite and working within a small high-profile team in an international context. It requires a good command of IT tools and in particular Excel or Google sheet, an eye for detail and a job well done, excellent written communication skill and the ability to work well with others.

What you will do

The Business Operations Administrator, Global Property will report to the Senior Manager, Business Operations, Global Property and will support the following activities:

Update and manage the Global Property Portfolio Database

A considerable part of our activity relies on access to accurate data regarding the group's property portfolio. We have a process in place that requires precise management including:

Collecting data in collaboration with various stakeholders from finance partners, HR partners and business unit stakeholders.

Controlling data quality and accuracy

Completing the property database and maintaining it

Advising on improving the process and the database format

Support the production of reports

We have a relatively intense reporting rhythm requiring supervision in terms of reports formatting and editing. Content is created by the team which needs help in the following areas:

Proofreading of reports

Formatting and controlling the quality of reports

Financial Management

Assisting with financial budget management, forecasting and tracking spend for the Global Property budget and HQ facilities management budget.

Administer the suppliers invoices’ payment process for work undertaken with external advisors and suppliers.

This role includes management of the payment process for suppliers and onboarding new vendors where required.

Administer the team administrative activities including but not limited to:

Travel planning and booking support

Expenses claims support

Team diary management support ensuring central view of who is where, managing the key dates calendar system and flagging actions and items due

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.

4+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in the real estate industry.

Excellent written communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast paced, proactive role for a large corporation and who is used to operating within a global corporate environment.

Candidate who has previously had experience for a large corporation in an international context.
