Job Description

Our Brewing & Brands team are seeking a Commercial Coordinator to join the team and support our Head of Buying and Commercial Manager in ensuring activity across our Value for Venues, Digital and Telesales areas is prepared, delivered and tracked efficiently. The ambition for this role is to provide structured coordination support that allows the Commercial Manager to focus on supplier engagement activities. 

Working from our Bury St Edmunds office (50% hybrid working), this full time, permanent role offers a busy and varied workload with genuine career progression opportunities within either the Commercial team or wider Greene King business. 

Responsibilities

Support the Commercial Manager in the delivery of the annual promotion calendar for the on-trade channel for foreign brands across digital, telesales and sales teams Track discretionary spend across sales teams for POS & glassware against budgets Collate & track promotional activities ensuring alignment of all submissions & corresponding artwork with organisational strategy, category focus and products listed  Produce scope, pricing & target lists for promotions Support the Commercial Manager in coordinating with Digital, Telesales, Sales & Internal teams to ensure promotions are loaded correctly and run on time in full Monitor promotional activity on an ongoing basis including loading stockrooms, producing delivery reports, actioning, and responding to customer support issues raised through the Sales Support Log, liaising with central teams to ensure deals are amended / paused and communicated appropriately Tracking & reporting of promotional effectiveness providing insight & recommendations to assist Commercial Manager in maximising ROI for Greene King & our suppliers

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have have previous coordination experience, a commercial mindset and intermediate Excel skills (formatting, VLOOKUP, visualisation). Knowledge of experience of the on trade drinks industry would be beneficial but isn't essential. As important as your experience is the ability to demonstrate the following skills:

A can do attitude, looking to make a big impact in the business Strong communication and team working skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders Good at planning & seeing tasks through to the end, independently solving problems as they arise
