About Hinkley Point C
The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.
Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, or 600 million tonnes over its 60-year lifespan.
What you'll be doing
As a Crane Booking Coordinator, you will have the following responsibilities,
Coordinate the mobile bookings to support construction activities. Coordinate the tower crane bookings to support construction activities. Verify and account for mobile crane attendance on site (durations of hire) Coordinate the locations of MEH Alliance mobile cranes with the wider project. Develop proposals to improve construction use of mobile cranes. Support the Site Wide Team as required with emergent and ongoing scope. Management of crane use database including data entry Supporting the Site Wide Lifting Lead to deliver the scope. Weekly and accurate reporting.
Who we're looking for
Do you have?
Experience in managing cranes or coordinating cranes for construction activities. Ability to produce reports in Excel. Appointed person lifting would be desired. Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher) Major Projects Experience desired.
