The role

In this role, you will carry out gardening and grounds maintenance duties and deliver advice to residents, colleagues, and clients across the Greater Manchester Region. Specifically, you will carry out tree and gardening, grounds maintenance and other general repairs, being responsible for own safe working practices, being able to locate properties and grounds in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions.

You must organise a gardening schedule effectively and independently whilst documenting all works which are done efficiently and accurately. Effective communication with internal office staff, colleagues and managers is an essential part of the role.

The right fit

  • Demonstrable experience of horticulture and/or landscape maintenance.
  • Knowledge of horticultural procedures and the safe use of equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.  Commitment to excellent customer service. 
  • Awareness of relevant health and safety protocols. 
  • Ability to keep accurate records. 
  • Experience of dealing with the public on a regular basis. 
  • Full UK driving license.
