We’re looking for an Apprentice Development Lead for Europe, UK & Ireland. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting our apprentices and our apprenticeship programmes across Europe, UK & Ireland.

What you’ll do:

You will lead the day-to-day development of our apprentices across Europe. This will include the effective coaching and mentoring of apprentices through their programme. You will manage the relationship with all of our apprenticeship training providers across the region. You will be responsible for government funding initiatives (i.e.: Government Levy’s). You will implement an early careers engagement approach to facilitate a cohort feel to the programmes that bring early careers individuals together with shared goals, outcomes, and learnings (this includes a consistent and high-quality onboarding, a keep warm and induction programme for all apprenticeship starters across the region).  You will design, implement, and embed aggreko apprenticeship related guidelines and policies to support the consistent delivery of a best-in-class experience for our apprentices and their managers. You will work closely with our recruitment and communications team to create an attraction, recruitment and education outreach strategy that is relevant and attractive to our audience. You will implement an early careers engagement approach to facilitate a cohort feel to the programmes that bring early careers individuals together with shared goals, outcomes and learnings, including a consistent and high-quality onboarding, keep warm and induction programme for all apprenticeship starters. 

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

You will have proven expertise and experience of both designing and delivering apprenticeship programmes across the UK and Europe. You will be able to demonstrate your coaching and mentoring skills. You will have a good knowledge of apprenticeship standards and government initiatives and direction across the UK and Europe (this includes funding/levy options). You will have strong commercial acumen and awareness of the role early careers plays in talent management and future proofing.
