The East Lancashire Primary Team at Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Early Careers Teachers to support the great schools that we work with in our area, for a September 2024 start.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate ECT Teacher to join our team of teaching staff. As a dedicated ECT Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Be a Qualified Class Teacher with experience in Primary Schools, either in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Be hard-working, organised and committed to raising standards.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment and experience.
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum, in order to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • Set high expectations to enable children to achieve.
  • Manage Teaching Assistants effectively
  • Use assessment strategies effectively
  • Immerse yourself into the school, promoting their ethos and building relationships with children, staff and families.
  • Have effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Excellent understanding of Safeguarding practices.
