PPA Cover Educator

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in teaching children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2). The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting students throughout the school and possess a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.

Location: Accrington, Lancashire.

Pay: £120 - £140 per day

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and cover various classes across the school, including KS1 and KS2, and potentially EYFS.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans in alignment with the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and staff members.
  • Ensure continuity of high-quality education during the teacher's absence.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and a commitment to improving educational standards.
  • Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification, with ECT or relevant experience.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
