Interim Teacher for PPA

PPA Cover Educator

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in teaching children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2). The ideal candidate will possess the confidence to support students throughout the school and have a solid grasp of the National Curriculum.

Location: Accrington, Lancashire.

Compensation: £120 - £140 per day

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and oversee a variety of classes across the school (KS1 and KS2, potentially EYFS).
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Maintain effective communication with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants throughout the school.
• Foster positive relationships with all students and staff members.
• Ensure continuity of high-quality education during the teacher's absence.
• Exhibit diligence, organization, and a commitment to enhancing educational standards.
• Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques.
• Create a supportive and stimulating learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.
• Unwavering commitment to safeguarding and ensuring student safety.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
• Experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
