PPA Cover Educator

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in teaching children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2). The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting students throughout the school and possess a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.

Location: Accrington, Lancashire.

Compensation: £120 - £140 per day

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and cover a variety of classes across the school (KS1 and KS2, potentially EYFS).
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Effectively communicate with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants throughout the school.
  • Foster positive relationships with all students and staff members.
  • Ensure that students continue to receive high-quality education during the teacher's absence.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a commitment to enhancing educational standards.
  • Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification, along with relevant experience.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of students.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
